DCCP at AFEx 2025: Dutch-Filipino Agri-Food Innovation on Display

The Dutch Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines (DCCP) is live on the show floor at the World Trade Center for the Asia Food Expo, spotlighting Dutch-Filipino member companies in the agri-food sector. Visitors can find the Chamber at Booth 221 from September 3 to 6, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with programming and showcases that connect technology, taste, and trade.

Why this matters for the PH-NL business community

AFEx is now in its 31st year, a clear signal that food manufacturing and fast-moving consumer goods are evolving fast. This year introduces the first-ever FIM Asia, an international exposition dedicated to FMCG products, ingredients, and food manufacturing. For Dutch and Filipino companies looking to co-create solutions in cold chain, processing, packaging, and retail distribution, the expo is a high-leverage meeting ground.

My experience at Booth 221

I visited the DCCP booth on Thursday and found the experience rewarding. The booth wasn’t just a display, it was a vibrant space where Dutch quality met Filipino curiosity. I had the chance to meet Mr. Adrian Fernando Gamos, Events and Communications Officer at DCCP, who shared how the Chamber is helping visitors connect with member companies and potential partners.

Walking through the booth, I discovered a variety of Dutch businesses showcasing their products. Highlights included Grozetter cheese and Classic Strooikaas Cheese Sprinkles, giving a delicious glimpse of how Dutch food heritage is being introduced to the Philippine market. It was both educational and delightful to see these products positioned not only as exports, but as bridges to cultural and culinary exchange.
