Roundtable Discussion: Mainstreaming ESG in PPP Projects
Date and time: September 25, 2025, 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Venue: First Maritime Place, 7458 Bagtikan Street, Makati, 12242, Philippines
Organizer: Dutch Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines (DCCP)
Overview
Sustainability has moved from side note to standard in Philippine infrastructure. This roundtable explores how Environmental, Social, and Governance practices can be embedded across the full lifecycle of public private partnership projects, from planning and design to procurement, construction, and operations. Government and private sector experts will translate principles into practical steps, with real requirements and examples that teams can apply.
The discussion brings together the PPP Center and Arcadis. The PPP Center will present upcoming projects, outline bidding requirements, and explain how ESG criteria are used in evaluation. Arcadis will share lessons from its Road to Net Zero, ESG Blueprint, and sustainability reports, with a focus on what works in complex, multi stakeholder delivery.
What you will learn
- How ESG can be built into PPP planning, design, procurement, and performance monitoring
- How upcoming PPP opportunities are structured, including ESG related bid requirements
- How to define material ESG risks and metrics that lenders, regulators, and communities trust
- How Arcadis approaches low carbon, inclusive design, and responsible supply chains
- How public and private partners can align incentives without slowing delivery
Who should attend
Executives and managers from Dutch Filipino companies in infrastructure related sectors, government officials, PPP advisors, lenders, insurers, and industry leaders who want clear, actionable ESG integration in PPPs. Participation is designed for a focused group of 20 to 30 people to enable meaningful dialogue.
